If i want to download one movie, how long it will take.
256kbps was there,but while data was transfer it show only 17 kbps or some what?

they must be using some algo to reduce speeds for longer downloads...thats what they have done for our campus proxy-firewall...for webpages etc..the speed is around 100kbps....but while downloading songs etc..the speed goes down arithmetically 100-90-80 and so on to a paltry 2-3 kbps just to keep the connection alive. one way i have found around this problem is using script in linux to break and resume connection for downloads every few minutes.
