broadband push alone that would make all the difference

It isn’t the broadband push alone that would make all the difference. Point is that you need to provide an access to information to disadvantaged groups so that they can make informed choices.

It’s a vicious cycle; a rather chicken and egg situation. Broadband push is one aspect of bringing about rural prosperity; by no means all alone.

It isn’t the urban educated making choices for them. Given the choice, who would want to work as bonded laborers? Or wallow in illiteracy? Point here is that I am educated enough to realise that nation cannot progress if we don’t carry our compatriots along. Till the time, we don’t realise our duties (something that exisiting educational infrastructure is woefully inadequate to do), we cannot hope for a better change.

Let’s give everyone a choice.
